Andrew M. Tatge

Andrew M. Tatge

A native of the Mankato area, Andrew grew up learning the importance of hard work and customer service while working at his family's small-town convenience store. Andrew combines his understanding of how small and medium-sized businesses operate in the real world with his education in business and law to provide clients with efficient, result-oriented advice and legal representation.

Andrew's business, construction and real estate law practice takes him from the board room to the court room (and many places in between) throughout Minnesota. His business clients range from individuals looking for advice on how to start a business to established, multi-million dollar businesses in need of a full range of general counsel and litigation services. He has negotiated, documented, and closed million dollar business and real estate transactions, mediated and settled numerous disputes and, when necessary, litigated clients' cases at the trial and appellate levels.

In addition to assisting businesses with their legal needs, Andrew has a growing personal services and family law practice. Clients seeking to protect their non-marital assets in the event of divorce (through the creation of antenuptial and post-nuptial agreements) and divorcing parties with significant assets or a business appreciate Andrew's experience with businesses and knowledge related to asset valuation, accounting and finance principles. Divorcing parents and unmarried parents involved in disputes concerning their children appreciate Andrew's analytical and logical approach to resolving child custody and parenting time issues.

No matter what kind of case Andrew is handling, he understands and is appreciative of clients' concerns about the cost of legal services and utilizes his experienced staff, paralegals, and other attorneys in the firm to ensure that financial resources are used efficiently and appropriately, and that the right person is doing the job.
