
Download V-CardBuilding on his prior career in commercial and investment banking for a number of years, David Kim has actively been involved in various types of complex business transactions since he joined Gislason & Hunter in 2003. David was also a founder and executive member of a shipbuilding company. His substantial experience and understanding in business operations, from technological aspects to strategic choices in various industries, have allowed David to keep balance as an efficient counselor of law and practical adviser in business.
David’s practice encompasses all aspects of business transactional matters involving entity formation, merger, asset or equity acquisition, tax-efficient restructuring, divestiture, spin-off, and IP & technology development, acquisition, licensing, transfer, divestment, joint venture and other forms of strategic alliances. He represents clients in shareholder right matters, business evaluation and currently serves clients in human and animal biologics and diagnostics industry.
David also counsels lenders and borrowers in secured loan transactions as well as issuers of credit enhancement in public finance transactions. In addition, David advises clients in conjunction with domestic and international trade, including transactions with Asian countries such as Japan, China, India, and Korea.
