Perform stated objectives within the following financial areas:
General Finance and Accounting –Provide support for financial transactions and reporting, reconcile accounts.
Accounts Payable – Provide support, assistance and general recommendations for accounts payable function.
Financial Analysis and Reporting –Extract data for analysis and preparation of financial reporting on a routine and ad hoc basis.
Payroll Reporting & Processing – Ability to process all payrolls and provide backup for payroll processing and reporting.
AA degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration, BS degree preferred. Experience in lieu of degree acceptable. (Minimum of 2-3 years of directly related experience). Experience with Microsoft Suite, Quickbooks and Rippe Kingston Information Systems preferred. Advanced knowledge and skills using Microsoft Excel including vertical look-up and pivot tables. Demonstrated quantitative analysis skills. Thorough understanding of computerized management information systems, business principals and use of current standard PC software tools.
People-oriented and results driven. Ability to work independently under defined deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills providing the ability to communicate well with co-workers, attorneys and staff. Ability to work effectively within a finance team. Ability to recognize and solve business problems by applying appropriate use of logic to quickly isolate the trends or problems. High level of aptitude for the organization and prioritization of a large number of different tasks and responsibilities requiring high levels of mental effort while performing many problem-solving tasks and other essential duties
Ability and willingness to travel occasionally to all Gislason & Hunter offices.
