March 26, 2020

(March 26, 2020) – Gislason & Hunter LLP will continue to work remote and be fully operational after yesterday’s announcement from Minnesota Governor Tim Walz where he issued an Executive Order which directs Minnesotans to stay home. The “Shelter in Place” order takes effect beginning this Friday, March 27, 2020 at 11:59 pm. and ends on Friday, April 10, 2020 at 5:00 pm. The firm has proactively taken this precautionary measure to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus, and protect the health and safety of their personnel, clients and the communities in which the live and work. A proactive approach with technology and the cloud has given Gislason & Hunter the ability to remain fully operational yet ensuring people are safe. Attorneys and staff have been working remotely since March 17, 2020. In addition, their website provides valuable contact information and insights and articles on addressing business and economic challenges during this unprecedented time.

Gislason & Hunter has been preparing for this eventuality and advising clients about the implications of such an order on their businesses. We have also continued to counsel our diverse clientele on a wide range of other legal matters. The “Shelter in Place” order will not limit this firm’s abilities, responsiveness or accessibility. We understand that now is when businesses truly rely upon sound legal counsel. As always, Gislason & Hunter is here for clients and ready to assist in any way they can.
