Jacob J. Brekke

Jacob Brekke practices law in the areas of agriculture law and agribusiness, business and corporate law, finance and banking, general counsel services, litigation and real estate, environmental law and land use. Jacob wants to help agricultural and rural communities thrive. Through advising his clients on environmental and land use issues to facilitating business formation and financing, Jacob supports the prosperity and sustainability of these communities.

Throughout his undergraduate and legal studies, Jacob focused on learning how to best serve the agriculture industry by taking courses in finance, commodity markets, and environmental regulation and permitting. He also gained valuable experience at several large agribusinesses in conducting seed research, purchasing and marketing grain, and providing in-house legal services.

In his spare time, Jacob takes any chance he can to get outside and be active whether it is running, golfing, or hunting. Plus, he is a loyal supporter of the Gophers, Twins, Timberwolves, Vikings, and Wild.
